Lia Leendertz is an award winning garden writer. As well as a long list of successful books on the subject she writes a weekly column for The Telegraph as well as regular contributions to The Guardian and just about every other gardening magazine on the shelf.

Mark Diacono (Otter Farm) photographed the food for this her first cook book, and it was through him that I was introduced to Lia to design the book. The process was wonderfully collaborative, with Lia’s words and recipes and Mark’s photography punctuated by the beautiful illustrations of Tatiana Boyko, the book is a lovely introduction to cooking with the unexpected treasures of the garden.
